Alice K. Perrine

Alice K. Perrine, 89, of Ellport, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday morning, July 25, 2013.

She was born in Harmony on October 5, 1923 to the late Homer Ezra Graham and the late Hattie Steele Graham. She graduated from Zelienople High School and married her late husband of 49 years, Earl W. “Andy” Perrine, on August 9, 1941. She was a member of Grace Reformed Church in Harmony. She worked for 35 years at Shenango China in New Castle until retiring.

In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister: Orrin, Robert, and Arthur Graham, Margaret Fletcher, and Laverne Graham in childhood. She was also preceded by her granddaughter, Lisa Perrine.

Alice is survived by two sons and a daughter, Earl W. Perrine, with whom she lived, Raymond L. (and Brenda) Perrine of Niles, OH, and Deidra (and William) Desport of Lordstown, OH, as well as her brother, William (and Alice) Graham of North Sewickley. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Per Alice’s wishes, private services for immediate family only will be held at the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue, with Rev. Dr. Daniel A. Stinson, Turner Funeral Home’s Bereavement Facilitator, officiating.

Interment will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Franklin Township.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Alice’s name, to the Jameson Hospice, 1000 South Mercer Street, New Castle, PA 16101.
