Theresa Jones

Theresa M. Jones, 90, Brookville, and formerly of Pittsburgh passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2026, at Beaver Valley Health & Rehab Center in Beaver Falls. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Cyganik) Kenoza and was born October 19, 1935 in Pittsburgh.

She is survived by her daughters; Rose Hugnegel and her husband Bill of Ellwood City, Vivian Tobin-Zimbicki of Brookville, Dorothy Carr of Zelienople, her 8 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Langley High School, and she grew up in Sheridan. She was married to Samuel A. Jones for many years and they had six children. They raised their family in the Pittsburgh area. She enjoyed going to their camp, which they called their country house in Brookville. She was of the Catholic Faith. She was employed by Calgon Carbon for over 20 years. Upon their retirement, they moved to Brookville to get away from the city. After retirement she enjoyed the outdoors, and gardening. She was a loving mom and she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Sam Jones, her daughters; Tami Schmidt, Darla Jo Jones and Mary Jones, and her siblings added here if you want.

Interment will be in Richardsville Cemetery in Brookville
