Randall E. Miller, 78, of Butler passed away at the VA Butler Hospice Inpatient Care Center on April 6, 2026. He was the son of the late Raymond E and Connie (Bailey) Miller and was born June 17, 1947, in Pittsburgh.

He is survived by his two sons; Ryan Miller and his wife Tammy of Prospect, Daniel Miller and his wife Heather of Butler, his grandchildren; Kalleigh Miller and her fiancé Caleb Abraham of Shenango, and Ryan Nagel of Prospect, his brothers; James R. Miller of Alexandria, VA, Michael Miller of Slippery Rock, Scott Miller and his wife Susie of Prospect.

Randy was a 1965 graduate of Hampton Twp High school in Allison Park. After graduation he enlisted in the US Navy serving on the USS New Jersey, during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1971 and then continued in the Navy Reserves. He was employed at Bell of Pennsylvania and was a linesman and Supervisor and then retired from Verizon after 25 years of service. Randy was also a lifetime member of the Hampton V.F.D. No. 1 as a Paramedic and Firefighter. He was also head of the Relief Association and a Board Member. He was also a founding member of the Hampton Soccer League. He enjoyed going out to eat with his friends and family at Ponderosa Steakhouse, Valley Dairy and Eat ‘n Park.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Carol R, Miller.

Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville. Dates and Time are still pending.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made in Randy’s name to your local Veteran’s organization.
