With grateful hearts of a life well-lived, we share the passing of our beloved mother, Pauline Bradford, who went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2025, at the age of 76.
Pauline was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and service to others. A woman of deep faith and compassion, she poured herself into helping her family, friends, church, and community. Volunteering was never a “duty” to her—it was her joy. She was always finding ways to bless others. She was a long-time member of the Winchester Volunteer Rescue Squad and Reynolds Store Volunteer Fire Department. While living in Pennsylvania, she volunteered at the City Rescue Mission.
To her family, she was more than just “Mom.” She was our encourager, our prayer warrior, and our safe place. Her strength and warmth guided us, and her unconditional love reminded us every day of God’s grace. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she found pure delight in her grandchildren, showering them with kisses and hugs, laughter, and stories they will carry in their hearts forever.
She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and faith that will live on in everyone who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Charles Bradford Jr, Timothy Bradford, Paul Bradford (Lisa), and Gregory Bradford (Tracey); daughters, Leisa Newland (Kevin) and Angela Streckeisen (Jason); 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and countless loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; Her parents, David Michael and Florence Smith; her sisters, Norma Bradds and Linda Belcher, her brother, Gerald Michael and her beloved grandson, Jarred Streckeisen.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Abundant Life Church in Stephens City, Virginia. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
Though we will miss her beyond words, we rejoice in knowing she is now at peace, surrounded by the love of our Savior, and that her love and legacy will remain with us always.
Local arrangements entrusted to the Turner-Hyde Funeral & Cremation Services located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
