Marilyn Young Elliott

Marilyn Young Elliott, 87, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Grace (Kiesling) Young and was born February 26, 1938, in Ellwood City.

She is survived by her daughter; Stephanie Witsch and her husband James of Westford, MA, her son; Mike Elliott and his wife Carolyn, her grandchildren; Shauna Wu and her husband Matthew Heilman, their daughter; Ella of Washington state, Josh Elliott and his wife Brittany and their son; Kellan of California, Nick Witsch of Westford, MA, Jessica Witsch of Westford, MA, Courtney Witschford of Westford, MA, her siblings; Darlene Bruner of New Castle, Blaine Young and his wife Jean of Ellwood City, Sandy Weichman and her husband Bob of Arizona, Elda Kiel and her husband Pete of Arizona.

She was a 1956 graduate of Beaver Falls High School. She married the love of her life; Harry Elliott and they were married 51 years until his passing in 2018. She and Harry were founding members of Berean Presbyterian Church of Ellwood City. She was very active in PTO in the Ellwood City School System and served at PTO President for many years. She was also very active in and dearly loved the Learn to Read Program. Marilyn also worked for many years and retired as a word processor from Liberty Mutual Insurance company in New Castle, PA. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Harry R. Elliott and her brother; Gayle Young

Friends can call on the family on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 11:00AM-1:00PM with a Funeral Service Following with Pastor Cody, officiating at Turner Hyde Funeral Home of Ellwood City

Interment will be in Wurtemburg Cemetery in Ellwood City.
