Gary Keck

Gary L. Keck, 75, of Ellwood City passed away on August 20, 2026, at AHN Wexford Hospital. He was the son of the late Howard and Barbara (Beglin) Keck and was born December 10, 1950, in New Brighton.

He is survived by his daughters; Brandi Darr of Beaver Falls, Casey Keck and her husband Ree Boyd of Galivants Ferry, SC, his grandchildren; Nash, Blanche, Lila, and Christopher Darr, Lily Boyd, Jonathon Thayer, Grayson Boyd, one sister; Elizabeth Wallace and her husband Dwight of Industry as well as his niece; Brooke Wallace and one Nephew; Jeffrey Wallace.

He was a 1968 graduate of New Brighton High School and he also attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was employed by Calgon and Nalco in Ellwood City for over 30 years. He was also an over the road truck driver. He met his wife Majorie Makrenos and they were married November 29, 1985. He loved baseball, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was also an avid NASCAR Fan. He loved his family especially spending time with his grandchildren. Gary was extremely generous and supportive. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be deeply missed, by his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 28 years; Majorie (Makrenos) Keck who passed away in 2014.

Per Gary’s wishes, there will be no public services.
