Barbara Hempstead Rauch, 82, of Zelienople and formerly Fulton NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at NewHaven Court of the Passavant Community in Zelienople. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Marie (Spagnola) Hempstead and was born December 20, 1942

Barbara is survived by her sons; Brian Curran and his wife Susan of Columbia, SC, Matthew Curran and his wife Deborah of Cranberry Twp, her grandchildren; Bryson Curran and his fiancé Kate of Jacksonville, AL, Kristen Curran of Cranberry Twp, Sara Grace Owen and her husband Franklyn of Columbia, SC, Kevin Curran and his wife Shaunna of Harmony, Mitchell Curran of Cranberry Twp, Sean Curran of Cranberry Twp, Maddy Curran of Columbia, SC, Aidan Curran of Cranberry Twp, and her sister; Anita Kinsley and her husband Bill of Malone, NY

Barbara was born in Williston Park, NY and she was a graduate of Herricks High School where she was a cheerleader. She was a competitive pairs roller-skater and she loved dancing. She was a graduate of SUNY-Brockport where she received her bachelor’s degree in Education. After moving to Conway, SC Barbara enjoyed spending her time with her many friends in North Myrtle Beach. She also loved to read and was an avid gardner. She was an animal lover, especially dogs. While living in Pittsburgh she was a successful Real Estate Agent with Howard Hanna Real Estate. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and had many close friends throughout her entire life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, of 13 years, Jerre Rauch and one sister; Elaine Gilmore.
