Abraham Gary West,III

Abraham Gary West, III, 80, of Fombell, passed away and into the arms of his Loving Savior on Friday, December 26, 2025, at his home. He was the son of the late Abraham G. West, Jr and Dorothy (Daufen) West and was born June 16, 1945, in Evans City, PA.

He is survived by his children; Timothy West and his wife Monica, Traci Kingston and her husband Todd, both of Fombell, his grandchildren; Amelia Kingston and her husband David Luevano, Abigail Kingston and Kenneth Burr, Jonah Kingston, Lydia Kingston and her fiancé Bryan Peterson, and Thomas West, two step-granddaughters; Heather and Nicole Peterson and one step-grandson; Damian, his siblings; Ruth Cortez of Ellwood City and Boyd West and his wife Brenda of Beaver Falls.

He was a 1963 graduate of Riverside High School. He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart; Martha Nye West in 1965. Gary was drafted in 1965 into the US Army and he served in country during the Vietnam War. He continued his service in the US Army Reserves until 1971. Upon returning from his service, he went to work at Bilco Manufacturing as well as his family dairy farm, in Fombell. He and his wife raised their two children; Tim and Traci on the farm. They were active members of Lillyville Church of God where he assisted Pastor Dennis Arndt at the church service held at Northview Estates in Ellwood City. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. More than anything, he liked to make people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Martha Nye West, one infant son; along with one brother and 5 sisters.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Turner- Hyde Funeral Home of Ellwood City. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 10am-11am with a Funeral Service following at Lillyville Church of God, with Pastor Dennis Arndt, Officiating.

Interment will be in Camp Run Cemetery in Fombell.
