Richard Ladoy Neyman, 74, of Franklin Twp, Ellwood City passed away on Oct 18, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital, in New Castle. He was the son of the late Arthur and Willa Marie Neyman and was born in Ellwood City on September 13, 1947. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He received the Bronze Star and the Distinguished Flying Cross for his gallantry and bravery while serving his country, in Vietnam. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Santry-Neyman of Ellwood City, PA; his sister Janice Allen (Neyman) and her husband Bill; sister-in-law Sally Neyman; his children: Kerry Daskalakis (Neyman) and her wife Christina (Phillips) of Cleveland, OH; Gabriel Santry and wife Jennifer (Kreuzer) of Roseville ,CA; Amy Lusty (Santry) and her husband Geoff of Ellwood City, PA; Bethann Santry and her husband Daniel Rice of Los Angeles, CA. He was blessed with four grandchildren including Ethan and Molly Lusty and Samantha and Alexis Santry. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews. Neyman graduated Riverside High School in 1965. He attended Youngstown State University before entering the U.S. Army. He was a Chief Warrant Officer and piloted helicopters with the 101st Screaming Eagles. He was an expert woodworker and owned his own company, Neyman’s Custom Carpentry, building many homes for families all across Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties for more than 30 years. He also owned X-spurt Rhino Linings in Ellwood City with his late-nephew, Larry Neyman. He was passionate about life and good enough was never acceptable. He strived to be the very best husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend possible. His life will be celebrated in the love and memories left in all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his brothers John Neyman and Russel Neyman and his two nephews, Larry Neyman and Danny Fisher Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER FUNERAL HOME located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
