Anna Belonzi

April 13, 1922 - August 20, 2021

Anna Belonzi, 99, of Ellwood City died Friday, August 20, 2021, at Carriage House Manor Care in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Seraphina Fusco was born March 13, 1922, in Koppel, PA She was survived by her sons; Chuck Belonzi and his wife Dorothy "Dottie" of Butler, Jeffrey Belonzi and his wife Kathy of Franklin Twp, and 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Anna was a graduate of Lincoln High School, where she was top of her class. She worked at the 5 and 10 in Beaver Falls, where she met the love of her life Charles J. Belonzi. They married February 5, 1947, and they raised their three sons. She was a homemaker and loved baking and was very active in the Charismatic Movement. She enjoyed her spiritual books. She was an active member of Saint Agatha/Holy Redeemer Parish, in Ellwood City. She was preceded, in death by her husband, of 74 years, Charles J. Belonzi, Sr. and one son: Gary Belonzi. Anna was a graduate of Lincoln High School, where she was top of her class. She worked at the 5 and 10 in Beaver Falls, where she met the love of her life Charles J. Belonzi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 11:00 am at Holy Redeemer Church, with Fr. Mark Thomas, Officiating. Interment following at Locust Grove Cemetery in Ellwood City. Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER FUNERAL HOME located at 500 6th Street in Ellwood City.
